Aviv Press books are geared for readers of all faiths and denominations who wish to engage in an intellectually dynamic consideration of Jewish texts and spirituality. While most of our books are written by rabbis within the Conservative movement, we are open to considering works by other writers. Before submitting a proposal, please familiarize yourself with the kinds of books we publish. Please do not send poetry, fiction, memoirs or children's books. Please keep in mind that Aviv Press publishes only two to four books a year and just about all of our authors are either rabbis or writers who have already established themselves in the field of Jewish letters.
A proposal should include a cover letter, table of contents, introduction, two sample chapters, and a biography of the author. Please send the material to:
